Bowling for Columbine

Bowling for... Posted by Hello

I watched Bowling for Columbine for a few minutes on TV. Michael Moore is very popular with his comments. When he awarded Academy Awared two years ago(the year of 9.11), He said (to Bush)on the stage "Shame on you. Shame on you!!". This time is the first time to see his movie. I had thought the movie is nonfiction tale, but it isn't. It's a documentary movie!
The movie is so great. I thought it can be used for social or history class. It is enough easy and enterested for me (and even childlen) to know how is the American community like. If he is my history teacher, the class would be more exciting one.
Have you seen His latest movie, Fahrenheit 9/11, yet?? I haven't, because 1500yen is too high to see a documentary movie,I think. But I'd like to see it. If some one have seen it, please tell me your impression.

I went to see Fahrenheit 9/11 last weekend at the movie theater in Toshimaen. Have you been there? It's a nice theater. It was disturbing in parts (some very graphic pictures of dead and dying people), and in parts it was funny, but mostly it was just sad and depressing, at least for me, as a US citizen. Bowling for Columbine was a better movie, I think. But F-911 is still worth watching. The message is important: "Don't believe everything you see on TV." Of course, his other message is also very clear: "Don't vote for Bush."
